STM EcoCut 2D waterjet cutting systems are reliable low-maintenance complete systems with an extremely attractive price-performance ratio. They provide economic entry to the world of waterjet cutting.
The integrated cleaning lance system enables efficient flushing of up to 80 % of the abrasive sand from the cutting tank. What is more, STM will provide you with customised training modules to match the desired system configuration.
The EcoCut 2D waterjet cutting systems are configured for operation with pure water as well as for abrasive cutting. For waterjet cutting the water is forced through a nozzle with a pressure of up to 6.000 bar from which a focussed waterjet is emitted at 2- to 3-fold the speed of sound.
To increase the kinetic energy, abrasive (granite sand) is added behind the water nozzle to cut harder materials.
